Due to the historical trauma of slavery and colonisation, many African descendants were stripped of their language, traditions, and customs, making it challenging to pass down important cultural practices to future generations. This disconnect has led to a sense of identity crisis among African communities until today, as they grapple with the questions of who they are and where they come from.
WahengaPlus was created by African descendants to contribute the solution by building an interactive and innovative platform. The platform will help the users create their family tree, that will take suscribers on a journey to discover their culture of heritage.
